Simple and easy to prepare, white gravy is a mealtime favorite for both young and old alike. With pure ingredients, our gravy mix is versatile, complimenting beef, pork, poultry, or vegetables. We think you’ll agree that “delicious is timeless!” OLD SCHOOL BRAND™ WHITE GRAVY ¼ cup White Gravy Mix. ¼ cup shortening or cooking oil. 1¾ cups milk. Heat shortening over medium heat in heavy skillet. Stir in gravy mix and stir for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown. Slowly pour in milk, stirring briskly with wire whisk until mixture comes to a boil. Reduce heat, stirring constantly, and remove from heat when desired consistency is reached. Yield: 2 cups gravy.
